AbstractWorm-like PtCo nanotubes are synthesized by galvanic exchange reaction using Co nanowires as templates. As a novel electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation, the as-prepared PtCo nanotubes display better activity and stability compared with commercial Pt/C catalyst.
