AbstractA rapid and accurate ion chromatographic technique was developed for the simultaneous determination of petroleum mono and disulfonates in oilfield petroleum sulfonate samples. To obtain accurate quantitative values, the pure petroleum monosulfonates and petroleum disulfonates were first separated and purified as the quantitative standard substances. Meanwhile, by using weighted least squares linear regression, we could obtain better analytical results. Detailed comparative resultswere described in the article.
